Center of Hope
Center of Hope is a Christ-centered ministry dedicated to helping others break the cycle of poverty in Parker County.
We have location in Weatherford and Aledo. At the first visit, we don't require a lot of paperwork. If someone is hungry enough to ask for help, we give them food.
When families come to Center of Hope, they receive short-term crisis assistance after an interview process. During the interview, we identify their income and expenses and develop a Plan of Action with them. Some clients are unable to be self-sufficient, like the elderly and disabled. Others need help with follow through to get back on their feet.
We strive be a relational ministry where everyone is encouraged to discover their talents and abilities and find God's purpose for their life.
The Feet
Beautiful Feet Ministry starts in Fort Worth Texas on East Hattie St, then spreads throughout the inner-city and beyond, spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Our main focus is the poor, homeless and neglected, living wherever they can in the inner-city. We encourage you to check out a few ways we minister to these folks through our website "TheFeet.org" and how you can be a part of this Ministry.
Or better yet, Stop by and visit us. We are open seven days a week, serving hot meals and serving the WORD: 8 am - 1 pm Monday thru Saturday, and 6:30 am - 12 pm on Sunday.
Free Life
Free Life Ministries began ministering to inmates in 1992 by Mack and Mitzi Hall, through a leather mail order business. It was at that time an inmate from La. wrote to ask for Spiritual guidance.
I responded to him by telling him "You can be free no matter where you are if you are in Christ". We were encouraged to hear that he began studying his Bible and began working as the Chaplain's Assistant, staying in that position for nine years. Later, we heard from a man who had been incarcerated for 30 years, was being paroled, but didn't have a place to go.
We were able to help him with a place to stay. It was during this time that Mack and Mitzi felt a calling on there lives to minister to the incarcerated.
The scriptures guiding us were Matt. 25:35-40; 2 Cor.5:17-21; and Heb. 13:3
